Poll for 18th Hexie Swap--Vote Now!

Time to select our themes for the 18th Hexie Swap!

Email me your top THREE choices to 2013hexagonswap@gmail.com. The poll will stay up until September 2nd; the official sign ups begin immediately and ends on October 3rd. In order to give you PLENTY of time, the swap is due in my hand no later than November 28th. This will be our last swap of 2015!

Guidelines would be the same as the previous swaps, but always feel free to contact me if you have any questions on fabrics. You can check out the blog at http://hexagonswap.blogspot.com/ for past swap guidelines. We are looking for small prints to make the most of our hexie quilts.

The terrific gals at Paperpieces have been kind enough to extend their 20% discount for all merchandise purchased (shipping not included in the discount). Visit their website at http://www.paperpieces.com/

Five Hexagon Templates From Lovepatchworkandquilting.com

Click below and print at 100% (I would verify by printing one page and measuring one side) five different hexie sizes. Remember, the hexie size is measured on one side.

They measure 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and 2". I've used 110 lb. card stock purchased at Staples to print off my copies.

Hexagon Star Mug Rug From The Blue Chair

What is a mug rug? Well, it's larger than a coaster but smaller than a place mat. Perfect size for a cup of java and a treat! You can whip up this mug rug in no time.

For gift, add a matching mug, tea bags/and or coffee and perhaps a small package of cookies for a special someone.
