A Share From Carrie W.
Carrie W. says..
"Hello Kathleen. Here is another picture of a wip. I've been able to use the swap hexies where it calls for groups of 6, and have enjoyed picking from my own stash to coordinate. It's a bit slow going, because sometimes I get lost joining it all up together and have to rip a piece off. The pattern is Editya Sita's Grandmother's Flower Garden. So next step is applique!"

PatV82 Shares Her Latest Project
Pat says "Sending you pics of my new Christmas Hexie project. I'm thinking these
would look great on a white background. Let me know if you trip across a
white tone-on-tone w/ a hexagon design."

Frank W. from GA shares his latest project called "Grey Gardens"...
"Here is a pic of my incomplete "Grey Gardens". Sure you can see it is pin basted. The maroon strip I had trouble with. Wanted a 3d effect so it is a flange I believe they call it not sure. But the first one I ever tried and had to hand sew it to finish the corners."

Sharing Hexagon Quilt
Carrie W. shares one of her hexie projects:
"This was a quilt that I made for a very special teacher at my son's school. She was doing her year of teacher training, and was the daughter of a beloved kindergarten teacher. We made hand prints of each student, and used those as the "flowers". Those were in place of a set of hexies. The scrap hexies used were in the borders. Our teacher is currently looking for a position and I am certain she will get one VERY soon!"
