Ideas For Themes For The 23rd Hexie Swap

For a future theme, I was thinking of having a "goop melange" swap. That's French Canadian for everything but the kitchen sink.

Have lots of odd and end squares or finished hexies from other projects? I had a ton of 2 1/2" squares cut from my scraps for four patches that can be used for this type of swap. How it would work is that you would take six different hexie colors and prints and that would be considered one set. Clear as mud? This would be great for larger backgrounds or for color blocked patterns. Sound like fun? Let me know what you think!

Here are some photos from the web of ideas for those odd and end hexies. One thing is for sure--you won't get tired of  making these!

And here are a couple more photos of uses for those shades of greens, purple or red quilts:

A couple more suggestions for upcoming swap themes are:

>Shades of Orange
>Shades of Yellow
>Shades of Brown
>White on White
