I am Janis and I live in St. Augustine, Florida, the United States’ oldest city. I have been making hexies since I discovered Paper Pieces at the Houston Quilt Festival in 2011.
I have been in several of the swaps with Kathleen and am currently working on two major projects: one is a scrappy quilt using the stashbuster hexies. The next one I started is using the tone-on-tone prints from the last swap. I am fussy cutting clock face hexies from a fabric I have and using the tone-on-tone colors for the clock “hands”. I’m calling my quilt “It’s Time I Did Something With All These Hexies!”. As soon as I can I will post a picture of it.
